SAN M

“Hi I'm San! I'm studying Medicine at Oxford and I'm in my 4th year. I would love to pursue a career in surgery. In my 2nd year I was part of a lab undertaking research into kidney transplantation which I have a keen interest in. I used to regularly organise medical talks at the university for other undergraduate students to enable further learning and deeper understanding about key scientific research happening in the medical/biomedical fields - for example  there were talks on sleeping disorders, novel treatments for clinical depression and prosthetic hands . I am also very interested in women's health, especially conditions that can have detrimental physical and mental effects on women - such as endometriosis. Outside of medicine, I am a true francophile! I love learning French and immersing myself in the culture through French podcasts, films and books. I have experience in tutoring English and French, with my students between the ages of 7-14. “

San is a fourth year student at Oxford University studying Medicine. In Sixth Form, San was an A Level student taking Biology, Chemistry and Maths, and she also completed a French AS Level. San is able to offer both mentoring and tutoring in Biology, English and French as well with Medicine applications.
