I am the founder and co-managing director of Mentor Jr. I started Mentor Jr. because I believe that if inequality starts anywhere, it starts with education. From managing everything own my own since 2020 we are now a growing team of over 5. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions at all.

Upon joining Mentor Jr. as a tutor, I began to realise how impactful and invaluable peer tutoring can be. Support for education should be both available and accessible to everyone; this is why I aim to help grow the Mentor Jr. community further. As well as outreach, I am responsible for running the platform, introducing new tutors to Mentor Jr., and answering any questions - please do let me know if there is anything I can help with!

Sama AbuZayyad
Growing up, I always struggled to connect with my school teachers. It was difficult to empathise with academic pressure, adolescent stress and the standardised exams of today’s world. Naturally, I sought for those who have recently experienced the same endeavours, surviving and triumphant at the other end, and willing to share their advice with younger students. Before I am a mentor, I am a student with firsthand experience of the challenges of learning and, more crucially, understanding yourself. My goal is to ensure that more students can experience the moment it clicks, be taught more personally and be proud of themselves, emerging more confident at the other end. This is especially in regard to those who have not had the opportunity to maximise their budding potential.

Esther Bonnaud
I am passionate about tutoring ever since I became a mentor for Mentor Jr. in the midst of the COVID pandemic in 2020. Having witnessed the impact a private mentor can have on a young child's life, I am determined to bring this opportunity to as many kids as possible. After living in the UK all my life, I moved to New York in August 2022. As Associate Director for the USA, I am on a mission to grow Mentor Jr. in America, to give more children that little extra help that could change their life forever.
